Welcome to Showcase Yourself, a talent platform that connects talented individuals with clients for work opportunities. By accessing or using our website ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with these terms and conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.

1. User Accounts

1.1 Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction.

1.2 Account Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.

2. User Content

2.1 Ownership

Users retain ownership rights to the content they upload or share on the Platform. By posting content, you grant Showcase Yourself a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to use, modify, and distribute the content for promotional purposes across Showcase Yourself’s owned media channels, including but not limited to social media and partner platforms.

2.2 Prohibited Content

Users may not upload or share content that:

Violates any third-party intellectual property rights

Contains hate speech or discriminatory language

Is unlawful, offensive, or abusive

Infringes on the rights of others

3. Bookings, Payments, and Milestones

3.1 Talent Bookings

The Platform facilitates connections and bookings between clients and talent. Showcase Yourself is not a party to any agreements between users and does not guarantee the quality, completion, or outcome of services rendered.

3.2 Milestone-Based Payment Structure

Clients and talent may define project milestones for structured delivery and payment releases. Once a milestone is completed and approved by the client, the agreed-upon amount will be released to the talent.

3.3 Escrow and Dispute Resolution

Payments for agreed milestones will be held in escrow until milestones are marked complete by the client. In the case of disputes, Showcase Yourself offers mediation support but does not guarantee resolution. Final arbitration may be required as outlined in Section 8.

3.4 Payment Processing

All transactions are processed via secure third-party payment gateways. Users agree to comply with their respective terms and conditions. Showcase Yourself is not liable for delays, failures, or fees imposed by these third-party services.

3.5 Service Fees

Showcase Yourself may charge a platform fee from clients and/or talent. Fees will be disclosed prior to transaction confirmation.

4. User Conduct

4.1 Acceptable Use

Users agree to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and refrain from harassment, abuse, or spam.

4.2 Prohibited Activities Users must not:

Attempt to bypass security systems or access restricted areas

Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

Misrepresent their identity or qualifications

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Content Rights

Users retain their intellectual property rights. By using the Platform, users confirm that they own or have permission to use all content submitted.

5.2 Platform Rights

All platform-related content, including design, features, and branding, is owned by Showcase Yourself and may not be copied or used without permission.

After payment is made, you’ll receive:

A confirmation email.

A downloadable invoice with a breakdown of the project cost, service fee, and GST.

A record of the transaction in your transaction history page under the deposit section

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is." Showcase Yourself disclaims any warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Showcase Yourself shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Platform.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under applicable rules, with arbitration to take place in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Showcase Yourself may update or modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
