Ek Ladki Bheeghi Bhaaghi Si
I'm a trained actor, award-winning screenplay writer, director and former computer engineer, with a diploma in Method Acting from The Jeff Goldberg School of Performing Arts. Besides maintaining a keen interest in traveling, theatre and history, I also enjoy learning new languages. At present, I can speak in five languages - Hindi, English, French, Italian and German. In terms of work experience, I have done 1 web series, which is currently under post-production; 3 short films; and 11 stage plays. You may have spotted me in 'The Cherry Orchard' at The Veda Kunba Theatre as the anti-hero Lopakhin; my short films, 'The Divine' and 'Karmic Catharsis'; or in 'Julius Caesar' at The Royal Opera House as Casca. At present, I remain occupied with my upcoming projects, including the short film - 'Am I Not A Madman?' and the feature film - 'Two Harmonic Lives,' in which, I will be playing my first lead role in a feature film, as well as essaying my first double role. It's an English-French bilingual, and I have dedicated two years to also writing the screenplay, in addition to learning French. The screenplay recently won an award in the International Screenwriting Category at The Jaipur International Film Festival. At present, I am pitching this project to several international co-production houses in France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Canada, with Quebec Film & Television Council(QFTC) is taking an active interest.
