I’m Shailly Sharma, 38 years old (though I’m often told I look much younger, around 25–28). My screen age is 25 to 28, so I can cover a wide range of age groups comfortably. By education, I’m an MSc topper and previously worked as a scientist. However, my journey has always been deeply rooted in performing arts. I am a professional dancer and have been part of TV reality dance shows, along with 200+ Bollywood and musical theatre performances. Through these performances, I’ve portrayed stories and characters purely through body movement and expressions. I’ve had the opportunity to play a wide range of roles — from feminine characters like Shakuntala and Parvati to intense negative roles like Raavan, Shaitan, and even abstract concepts like a virus in theatrical acts. These experiences have helped me understand character depth and emotional range. After 38 years of life and experience, I’ve now fully realized my passion for acting. I’m not looking for typical romantic roles — I’m more inclined towards raw, real, and performance-driven characters that truly challenge and define an artist. Being from a millennial generation, I bring strong discipline, punctuality, and time management skills, which I developed during my scientific career. I’m also extremely hardworking and committed — qualities that helped me reach a professional level in dance. I’ve also had the privilege of performing with Shah Rukh Khan in 2022, which was a memorable milestone in my journey.
