Singer, drummer and guitarist Aarifah’s journey began with a fascination for innovative storytelling. Past releases like "Now She Knows", "Anyway" and "Past Tense" (EP) reflect just that, with narrative influences from genres such as folk, soul, country and alternative rock. Highlights of her career includes being a finalist on season 1 of Nexa Music x A. R. Rahman, featuring on ‘Maa Pyaari Maa’ by Ricky Kej x Siddharth Basrur, drumming on Coke Studio’s “Geejaga Hakki” and “Khalasi” and 5 Maati x Warner India songs, being selected for G5A’s residency as a part of Yo-Yo Ma's global "The Bach Project", performing drums for Madame Gandhi’s tour, collaborating with Sandunes x Ableton for Redbull’s ‘Switching Rails’; and recently winning the Serendipity Arts Foundation Production Grant for independant musicians. She’s no stranger in front of the camera acting and modelling for campaigns and adverts like Levis, Dermicool, Maybelline, lately lending her voice for Coca Cola advert campaign.
